Hey everyone,
We will be going to Valley of Fire this Saturday, March 28. We’ll leave the church around 9am and try to get back around 3 or 3:30pm before the start of the 4pm service. It takes about 1 hour to get there, so we should have a good 4 to 5 hours at the park.

A couple of things to note ::
• We’ll be taking the church van which seats 9, if we have more we may need to ask around the group to see who can supply an extra vehicle.
• The cost for the trip is $6 for one vehicle admittance to the park, and $20 to fill the van back up with gas. So we need to divide this up amongst us that goes as our budget got zapped in the reductions. If someone needs to bring an extra vehicle we’ll work out compensation amongst the group for gas and park admittance.
• I’m going to bring my 3 and half year old. If you all want to bring an older child (one that can walk trails) that is fine. I’m going to pay for her in whatever the cost comes out to be. I’m going to try and help you all with any questions and guiding us through the park so I won’t be taking photos.
• Everyone needs to bring a lunch, I’m going to try and get a cooler with ice to put water bottles in. We can put other drinks in as well if you want to bring something. Also, bring any kind of sun protection, it may not be hot but you’ll get burned if you are standing out in the sun to long.
• Let me know by Thursday if you can come or not. I need a head count just for vehicles.
Comment below if you can come or email me at sfox@canyonridge.org
Thanks guys,
Shad

Shad, If need be I can drive one of my trucks. Depending on the seating need. I have a (not including the driver, me) truck with seats for 4 more or one for 6 more. Let me know. I won’t need any gas compensation either.
