Most activities are from 9-12:00 on the day of the event.

For the first year in King’s Faire history photoministry is getting a booth to take photos of kids in costume as they arrive at KF.
We are loosely calling it the “King’s Faire Red Carpet Experience”. We are going to need a lot of help with this and want to partition the time into shifts for as many of you who want to participate. Lorisha is heading this up and it should be a fun thing for the kids to do as they come in and show off their costumes. KF is from 4:45 to 9pm, we want to get at least one photographer for each hour shift. We need to know soon if any of you all can participate.
We plan on having assistants helping with line control and we will be printing these photos after ward. All those logistics we’ll be worked out later but we need a commitment from you, let us know if you can help.
Baby Dedications are coming up again and we need your help. They are on May 9/10 weekend, which is Mother’s day weekend. Bob Landrumb has already stepped up to take the 4pm service. We need help at the 6pm service, and the 9 and 11am services on Sunday. Email me if you can help at sfox@canyonridge.org.
If you haven’t served for this before, we take a photo of each family that is having a baby dedicated. They get the photo later along with a certificate and a book.
Lorisha and Bob, thanks for taking on Saturday for Baby Dedication. the photos were great. Youth ministries were really impressed with the results. Good job!

Hey guys, we need as many of you as possible for our outreach event this Saturday at 9:30am 9:00am. Just meet at the communications office, and we’ll go from there. It last till 2pm and a lunch is provided. I’ll meet with you here at church and then send you out with the different groups that are going out to serve our community. We basically need as many people to document the event as possible. Outreach is one of the those ministries that can really use the photos as we like to show our congregation what being the “hands and feet” of Jesus is really all about. Okay, we are meeting on Tuesday Nov 11th at 7pm. Just meet in the Communications office like normal then we’ll head over to the cafe to begin hanging our prints. We are going to use the frames donated, but we might be purchasing some frames as well. If you are going to bring more frames, let me know in the comments below.
What you need to do is get at least two prints made 8×10 size of your favorite photographs. I’ve got a few I’m going to get printed this weekend. Bring those on the 11th.
In the case we have more photos than expected we’ll cut some out. But know that everyone is going to represented that wants to participate.

First off, kudos to Lorisha, Diane, and Bryan for leading the meeting on the 14th. It looks like we are going to have a couple of photo walks on campus to complete our gallery project. See the dates below.

All photos need to be submitted by 10/28. This allows two weeks for approval and printing, so we can frame and hang on the next meeting 11/11. I’ll coordinate with Christina about this. We also might need more frames. I’ll ask about our photo budget and see if I can pull funds from that.

Hey everyone, their is an event this Saturday called “Walk for Life”. Outreach has asked if we could get a couple of photographers there to document the event. The walk supports the women’s resource center, we (Canyon Ridge) also support the center.
